Sorry I missed you on the livechat. I haven't figured out the overlay chat thingy yet. The reason the sound may sound weird could be the binaural audio setting. I know people have complained about it. Other than that it could possibly be because I am using a 7.1 surround headset, but it should translate to stereo without problem if listening on stereo setup. Tarkov is alot of fun if you can deal with the hardcore aspect of it, compared to most baby shooters like COD, BF4 etc. Thanks for typing and watching.

Yeah brutal indeed. When I heard the first roar I ran for the tree bridge to have the fence forcing any monster to come from one direction. It happened alot faster than I expected thou, hence the grim fate. The high grass makes it very claustrofobic and everytime I make the grass rattle I turn around just to make sure. I like how unforgiving the monsters are compared to the vanilla game 😅👌

I can't remember, but what you could try is to set DCS to simple radio mode. That way it sorts all radio stuff automatically. I will try look into this. Also sorry for late reply.

I rechecked my video and the mission does not prompt you to have to communicate with the ship by radio. However this would of course be the proper SOP before landing, since the fence around the helipad on the ship would be lowered in line with an active landing procedure. I can't remember the frequency for the ship, but you can open the mission in the editor and check what frequency and if it's on AM or FM broadcast.

Cheers bro. Was pleased with the effort in this session 😎 Note that during the firat clear out of the mountain outpost i had forgotten to activate the Spartan mod. Hence why i did a rerun. You can note the difference in the sound and enemy awareness.

Alot harder. You may notice in the vid how a sniper takes shots at me from great ranges. Also how riflemen opens up on me from downhill far off. You really stand out from far away of you break line of sight or stand out contour wise.

Spartan makes the ai see you from greater distance but also makes the noise range longer when supressor is used. Among other stuff. Its a fun challenge that invites for a more tactical approach. I will make timestamps for the highlights tomorrow. Glad you enjoy it 😎

Its a great game visually and gameplay wise. Relaxed yet exciting. Glad you enjoy it 💥

Arma 3 is great for a mil sim perspective, although the graphics may not seem up to date compared to many other shooters like bf4, ghost recon series etc. It does have it's issues now and then with performance issues, mostly related to maps (vanilla or user created). One can say that it is not the best optimized game comparing with the latest Doom game or for instance Hunter call of the wild when it comes to large open world areas with alot of objects like trees, houses, grass etc. However it is alot of fun to play a role in a milsim where your actions does have a significant impact on the experience and progress for other players. I would highly recommend you to find a unit to partake in which play on a serious milsim level resembling what it's like to be a soldier in a real life unit. Most of our SOP's are inspired by real life tactics, but also somewhat adapted in consideration of the game mechanics (what is possible and how to do it). I apologize if the language is not comprehensible for you, but we are after all a swedish Arma 3 unit hence the use of Swedish. I do however now and then stream other games like DCS, Ghost Recon Wildlands/Breakpoint, Hunter COTW and others. But primarily I stream our Arma 3 operations and trainings. I am not a helicopter pilot in real life and I honestly don't know. I would not be surprised if there are considering some enviroments can be quite challenging like the arctic, svamp areas etc. Thanx :D
